This hotel is no better than a super 8. Advertises full restaurant and beautiful lounge none were even open. Sorry Covid is not an excuse other restaurants and bars are open. Tiny rooms and even tinier bathrooms. Carpet you don’t even want to step on in bare feet. If you’re looking for a great Hawaiian resort this is not it. Look elsewhere

This place needs a thorough update. Looks like it hasn't been touched since 1955, except the sheets. Very dirty and the room card doesn't work. All the door glass and handles were filthy! Not one to look down on people but there were some questionable people hanging around there. Right on the corner of a busy intersection. If you're looking for someplace where it's well kept and quiet without the homeless asking you for money, this is definitely not the place. Even the single room rate is not worth this old hole in the wall. Yuck!!

Chosen because it was close to the airport. Very dated. They charged a resort key fee for the room key! My key didn't work at all and my friend's key was iffy. If you park on the back side which was closer to our room you have to haul your luggage up several steps to get it into the hallway.
I'm writing this 10 days after our stay and finding that this was
an adequate place close to the airport but certainly nothing outstanding or memorable
The room seemed clean enough .

Amazing! After our inbound flight on Dec 26 was delayed and we would miss our connecting flight, we needed a place to stay that was affordable. Luckily this hotel had one last room (room 11) for us. The beds were comfy, the room smelled fresh, and was very clean. The hotel itself is very cute and the scenery is amazing, especially the pool. While we were only here for a quick stop there is no reason why you couldn’t enjoy a wonderful vacation here. If you are a light sleeper no need to worry, there was no annoying noises of any kind throughout the night. Being right on the ocean hearing the waves was also amazing. Previously we have stayed at the Maui Beach hotel next door and the seaside is much much better. The restaurant was very good as well!

We stayed here from 12/14-12/17. This was a last resort and the price met our needs…although advertise pictures didn’t match what I believe vibrancy far as what hotel.com gallery has shown. Other than that my husband and I enjoyed our experience.

Booked a last minute room for $260. Checked in the room and there is a huge cockroach. Went to the front desk to look for solutions and the lady worked there said “there is Hawaii!” As in I should be okay with them crowing on my floor. She went on to ask where I previously stayed. My responded that I didn’t have to live with cockroaches this whole time even I believe it’s irrelevant. I insisted on switching room and she rolled her eyes and send me to a much smaller room with less things in the room — which does not match the price I paid. I went to the front desk again to raise my concern. Luckily there were other people checking in at that time — she felt she needed to accommodate me with other customers there and tell me to not talk about I found cockroaches in my room. She finally agree to send me to a better room with no cockroaches upstairs. Noting she previously told me multiple times that there is no room available upstairs — I requested it thinking cockroaches might have gotten in through the grass area. Also when I walked in she asked a much higher price than what’s online.
Hotels itself is decent on the 2nd floor. Close to the ocean but water is not clear. Please train your staff better or hire better people.

I really enjoy stay here because the staff was really kind. You could reach all the spot in 1 hour and beside this hotel there was food trucks area. You can enjoy deligent foods in there.

Very nice Courtyard..Very convenient location in proximity to OGG. Great day food truck corral next door. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff is super friendly and efficient!

Waiting to catch a flight home and noticed the new restrooms near gate 13. Very nice upgrade! Now please get some healthier and new restaurant options and I will gladly give 5 stars. Love the ease of walking straight from the car rental to the terminal.

Great little airport. Usually pretty easy in and out. Sometimes the agricultural line can get a little long but it's pretty quick. More new shops than when we were last here.

So much stuff it's almost overwhelming – although not in a bad way. Costco has amazing prices and has been the main provider for my family nutrition over the past 10 years. I wish every family could experience the joy you feel when you see something you want for much cheaper than you can find it anywhere else.

My husband bought some very nice 14 k gold Jewerly for me on Christmas Eve. As he was rushing he left the purchase in kart and left the parking lot. He received a call from Costco to say they had found the diamond necklace and earrings. I want to thank this honest employee Rosie/Rose that found it and turned it in. You are awesome. Costco you are lucky to have this lady working for your company. Rosie I can’t thank you enough for your honesty and finding it and turning it in. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Really cool outdoor mall! They have the traditional national chains like Macy’s and Jamba Juice. They also have a section right in the middle where you can get local produce and baked goods. Food court is a little small for the size of the mall. Not very many bathrooms so make sure you find a map. Easy parking 🙂

It's great right now! They actually have SANTA CLAUS there right now!! Which I heard wasn't gonna be there … but he's there!!! All the stores are open!! Not to crowded!! Easy Christmas shopping!!

Grabbed a slice of pepperoni there today. Absolutely disgusting.

Update: Walked in today to grab a slice at around 11am (last time it was actually decent).

Welp. No pizza at all. Come back in 15 minutes. When l returned, there was only one slice of pepperoni left and to get another one, it would be another 10-15 minutes.

Here is thought, how about instead making pies no one wants, make more of the popular ones.

Also…no restroom in a super market?

Anyway Jeff, how is that rocket ship working out ?

Store not well organized with the Turkey dinner pick ups today. Lots of people running around but not showing up with the dinner deliveries. My order was given to someone else and I ended up with his whole turkey. They made it right for me, including a gift card, but the person who finally pulled my order together could not figure out that I ordered and paid for a dessert. Good thing I checked after he told me “everything is here.”

Brock at the Kahului store was so great to work with. He was very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and helpful – and great sense of humor. Made a shattered phone while on vacation less upsetting! He was able to answer all of my (a thousand) questions about upgrading by me device and explained in a way that a non-tech person like me was able to understand. He also helped me switch to a better plan for my overall usage. Great experience!

If you ever want to be taken care of, then here is where you go. For me I come here for haircuts. I go to Ahndrea cause she is excellent with hair and more. A++++.Highly recommend coming here. Plus they are nice people.

They charge $500 for permanent hair straightening which 1. Wasn’t even straight it was just damaged and completely fried & 2. Hadn’t even planned it out before hand just was thinking about a way to outsmart you and take your money. They had told us it would have been 250 and realized they couldn’t handle hair that wasn’t thin and “white” started to get overwhelmed and wanted to make sure the money was worth it after all the time they’ve been wasting of having me sit in the chair for hours. Some of the ladies here are very nice when it comes to the facials but do not get your hair done here unless you’re willing to cough up a few extra hundred dollars. Completely ridiculous I shouldn’t even have paid.

Staff is very friendly. Wait outside and they will let you in for your appointment. Very good about health precautions. Had to share negative covid test, take temp and sign a medical verification.

An amazing selection of fresh water fish and as a huge bonus, a staff that actually knows about fish.

They have a great selection of other critters too.

Pay them a visit, you may end up with some Mudfish, water dogs, Axolotls etc

They also sell live crickets and worms.

I can't say enough positive things about Banana Bungalow. I stayed for 2 full weeks and had the absolute most incredible time. Gus was a great first impression and gave a great tour of the entire hostel. Tour guides Tanner and Steven were so friendly, knowledgeable, and overall fun guys to be around. The rest of the staff (shoutout Liv and Kim!) were welcoming and ensured the hostel was as clean as it could be every day!

The free tours are an amazing perk to staying at the hostel and I would recommend everyone to take advantage of them! For a hostel, the facilities were clean and I never found anything to be so dirty that I couldn't use it. The staff ensured quiet hours are upheld for those who like to get to bed early/wake up early.

If you're down for a party and a good time, this is the place to go! Everyone staying at the hostel were absolutely incredible and I made friends that will last a lifetime!

I heard so many negative things about this hostel that I was scared to stay but it was actually cute. It’s definitely on the wrong side of the island for everything but the price reflects that. It’s not “dirty” as many people suggested. It’s got great character, working internet and free coffee. It’s loud at times but you can just go inside and not really hear it and the sounds die down around 11.

If you’re a couple traveling in your 30’s, this is not the place for you. Place is good for solo young travelers wanting to socialize. Hostel is old and run down. The rooms are OK, decent but the shared bathrooms are unacceptable, old, dirty with feet towel that would be better in the garbage. It needs immediate renovation. The staff if very friendly and kind. The area isn’t nice from a tourist perspective. The common area outside is great with free coffee in the morning and strong wifi:) all in all, I will not come back.

The portion sizes were generous considering the price paid (at least compared to most other places that we went to on Maui). The staff was friendly enough (I'd probably give them a “B” on that) and the food wasn't bad either – not my favorite ramen place I've ever been to but I wouldn't mind going back. The biggest problem was simply that their shop is tiny and so if you want to dine in, you're likely going to need to wait, especially if you have a group larger than about 4.

My husband Tom and I had an outstanding experience with Direct TV Hawaii Satellite solutions. Kim was most professional, keeping us informed at every step of the process. When the equipment got delayed due to Tropical Storm Darby, she was able to arrange an expedited delivery and we were actually installed a day ahead of schedule. This is first class customer service. Got the best deal in Hawaii, First year for free! I have saved over $400 – can't compare to any other offer. They have location in center of the town which makes traveling unnecessary. I have followed up by phone and did not have to talk to the automated system, live person every time i called.

Strong recommendation to check them out if installing Directv Hawaii.
